Convenience meets quality

start from home

Enrolled employees simply log on and complete our online questionnaire. We developed the software ourselves and have made it easy-to-follow. If they get stuck, the questionnaire has 11 instructional videos that explain key estate planning concepts. They can also call or chat with a Dolphin Trust team member if they have more questions!

Finish with an attorney

Once finished, enrolled employees meet with a Shea Law attorney via phone or video to finalize their documents and have any remaining questions answered. We'll then meet at your workplace or one of our 15 Michigan locations to have the documents signed and notarized.

Lifetime maintenance and legal protection.

What's with the Dolphin?

Funny you should ask. Shea Law’s driving passion is to keep families out of probate court. Nothing good happens there.

When we die, it is an especially painful time for our loved ones. But it is also a time ripe for swindlers to take from your estate by asking a judge to intervene in what should be a sacred and private matter.

These charlatans are the sharks of the sea, smelling the blood in the water when you die or become disabled. The only mammal who routinely evades or, if it comes to it, beats down a shark is the Dolphin.

To protect their “pods” or families from this predator, they out-maneuver or ram the shark into submission. Dolphins don’t seek a fight, but they’re not anyone to mess with, especially when it comes to protecting their family. That’s why we chose the Dolphin as our mascot – one who protects those we love from the sharks.
